Deciding to pursue counseling marks a significant moment in one’s life, often driven by various reasons. Individuals seek therapeutic support to address an array of issues spanning interpersonal relationships, professional challenges, family dynamics, managing unwanted symptoms, the pursuit of change, processing past or present traumas, self-discovery, and numerous other personal objectives.
In my practice, adult counseling for depression emerges as one of the most common concerns. Statistics from the National Institute for Mental Health reveal that approximately 1 in 10 Americans will grapple with depression in their lifetime. Alongside addressing depression, I work with adult clients dealing with an assortment of challenges, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, men’s issues, cultural identity dilemmas, work-life balance struggles, and anger management.
Our primary therapeutic modality revolves around employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. CBT is a powerful tool that focuses on reshaping thought patterns to transform emotional experiences and subsequently, one’s life. While CBT serves as our main approach, I also integrate strategies derived from Positive Psychology and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional services to clients spanning across Texas and Florida, supporting individuals on their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.
