• Mayra Nieto, LPC

My mission is to serve others by empowering and helping each person on their path to emotional wellness. I have assisted children, teens, and adults with anger management, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and sexual/physical/emotional abuse. I am also experienced with persons affected by immigrating to the US, with cultural barriers and those dealing with spiritual warfare. From every-day stressors to complex trauma and grief, I have been able to provide interventions and assist the client in decreasing and/or eliminating the negative behaviors and symptoms.

I am licensed in Texas, Louisiana, and Kentucky as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Masters degree in Psychology and over ten years of experience in counseling in community settings, non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities and now currently in a private practice setting. I am also trained and experienced in treating clients suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Excoriation, Trichotillomania, and Hoarding through the application of Exposure Response Prevention Therapy and/or Habit Reversal Training. I am ready and willing to help with the pain and the struggles during your treatment. I will dedicate myself to being an honest and compassionate professional.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you improve your emotional health.
